Hi, I’m Julia. A designer by trade and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing - which mostly means I ask a lot of questions before I even open Illustrator.
I’ve always been fascinated by what makes some businesses feel impossible to ignore, while others - offering something just as good - struggle to be noticed. Not just how they look, but how every message and interaction shapes the way people see them.
That curiosity became TWO30: a strategy-led creative studio helping ambitious businesses understand who they are, how they want to be seen, and how to bring that to life with clarity and confidence.

People hear "second" and assume it means less important. It means the opposite.
Strategy isn't the slow, careful bit before the real work starts. It's where the idea actually gets found - the thinking that decides what's worth designing in the first place.
I dig further than most. Not for the sake of it - because that's usually where the more interesting answer is, underneath the obvious one. Design's job is to make that answer impossible to miss.
Nothing about that dilutes the creative work. It's what makes it land.
A Different Way of Thinking
Most projects start with a brief. Before deciding what to create, I want to understand what’s really changing, what’s getting in the way, and what’s been overlooked. When the thinking’s right, the creative work has somewhere meaningful to go.

I’m not just delivering creative work - I’m another perspective at the table. Someone who asks the questions that haven’t been asked yet, and helps you make decisions with more confidence.

Outside the Studio
The ideas don’t stop when I close the laptop. You’ll usually find me exploring the beautiful Devon coast, somewhere in the water, longboarding, or simply filling notebooks with things that don’t make sense yet - because inspiration shows up when you’re paying attention, not on demand.
