Precision Engineering
Building a Brand That Speaks Before the Conversation Begins
Express
The Brief
Precision Engineering needed a visual identity that reflected the quality of their work - as plumbing and heating specialists trusted across two very different worlds: domestic homes and Michelin-starred commercial kitchens.
That range was exactly the challenge. The brand needed to feel dependable enough for a homeowner and precise enough for a restaurant that can’t afford a single thing to go wrong in service - without feeling like two different businesses.
Alongside the identity, they needed it working across the real, physical touchpoints of the trade: flyers, service stickers, business cards and uniforms.
The Approach
Plumbing and heating work is built on precision, trust and consistency - whether it’s a domestic boiler or the kitchen line of a Michelin-starred restaurant. The brand needed to say the same thing, regardless of which world it showed up in.
The identity was built around clean typography, considered spacing and a restrained visual language - precise without tipping into cold or overly corporate. Every decision was tested against one question:
does this feel as considered as the engineering itself?
“TWO30 took us from just an idea to a fully realised brand. The identity gave us credibility straight away and helped us launch with confidence.”
Precision Engineering
Design & Delivery
The identity needed to work as hard on a van livery or a uniform as it does on a business card - so every asset was built as one connected system, not a set of one-off pieces:
Logo and brand mark
Flyers
Service stickers
Business cards
Uniforms
The Outcome
Precision Engineering ended up with a stronger, more professional presence - one that communicates the quality of the workmanship before a conversation has even begun, whether the customer is a homeowner or a head chef. A consistent visual system across every touchpoint gave the business a recognisable identity that works equally well across both the domestic and commercial sides of what they do.
Why It Matters
In a trade where trust is earned before the first job even starts, a brand that shows up consistently - on a uniform, a sticker, a business card - does real work. For Precision Engineering, it means looking exactly as reliable in a five-star kitchen as they do in someone’s home.
